I am writing my PhD dissertation prospectus about my research topic. The tittle of the topic is:
Uneasy Journey: Transformation from Informal Money Company to a Formal Bank.
A short description is that there are many Somali remittance companies who filled the vacuum created by the collapse of the banking system the ensued the civil that started in 1991. Now the situation is stabilizing and some of the remittance operators started transforming to formal banks though they are still in the process.
Can someone suggest me the conceptual framework for this project please?
