I am currently preparing for my viva voce, which will be in end of September 2016. Publishing few research papers based on my PhD thesis is another aim to achieve while I intend to develop my career as a lecturer.I thought post doc position would be great starting point. However I do not have teaching experience or PGCE qualifications.

You can apply for post doc. be sending email to Deans of relevant schools. you need include your CV.
The other issue here, some universities will ask you to pay some charges, while others will be with no salary. If you work as TA or in any funded research, you may get some income in addition to the experience.

Dear Jeeva, Theoretically, ResearchGate should be the place to haunt for jobs. However, in my experience the "Human Resource" people advertising reseach vacancies are still clinging to LinkedIn as the only place to advertise. So, I would suggest for the time being that you become a member of LinkedIn also.
You should be able to publish papers while you are employed. In fact the university will expect you to do so.
If you get a postdoc appointment at a different university, it will help to broaden your current specialisation and narrow focus.
You do not always have to have teaching degrees. In fact, I think that it can often be counter-productive, and teach you only to teach in old ways. Model your own lecturing on the best lecturer you have experienced. I am sure that you have done E-educating, given seminars, tutorials, a viva presentation, and presented at conferences? Now all you need to pick up is how to assess students, and how to do the admin.
