I am working on two projects that both require me to estimate Evapotraspiration in my areas of interest. The first project is to calculate ET in rice fields (in a controlled field and in a local or subsistence farm set-up). The second project is looking at calculating ET in a natural woodland environment that offers natural resources ecosystem services within community forests.
in both cases, I have limited climate data to estimate ET and I am therefore relying on freely avail satellite data to extract these information.
