I want to determine the influence of thickness of oxide layers on the diffusion coefficient of oxygen, i thought that it can be solved by means of Randles Sevcik or Cottrell equation but im not completely sure, thank you

if could designate your metallic sample (with anodic grown oxides over its surface), then you might assemble more help. I think that corrosion[1] mechanisms[2], due to the aggressive[3] Chloride, might be dealing (more) with your sample's performance.
