I and my team developing a powder mixing machine that utilize a 12V 102W ac to dc converter, a DC12V to DC40V with maximum power of 400W motor speed controller and a DC motor of DC12V and rated current of
It depends on the maximum power used by each electrical component. If all system use 12V, simply multiply the voltage with the maximum current rating for each component device and sum up all the power calculated. Add 10 to 20% just to be on the safe side as if over power usage can damage the Power Supply of your device. You might not find the exact power supply based on your calculation, but you can simply any power supply that is adjacent to your calculation. How ever you need to bear in your mind, the higher the power requirement for 12V system, the higher the current and you might end up with power loss in terms of heat.
