I want to apply a spline regression on my dataset but I need to know how I can define knots for spline regression.......

@ Pouyan Nejadi,

Dear sir, can you please supply an exemplary set of data to be approximated by a spline function. Is this the case of one-dimensional both the dependent and indpendent variable? The best way in such case would be a set of points on the XY-plane.
