This is a very general question. I need to know which software I can use to build a digital audio workspace interface for members of the public to create their own sound and music montages. I will be using an old iPad. It needs to be like a very simple version of Logic, Garageband or Ableton in arrangement view where tracks are shown in relation to a timeline.

The graphical user interface will have approximately five audio tracks. Users will be able to select from a limited bank of audio clips (not sure how this will be displayed in the GUI). Also, users will be able to record short spoken clips of themselves to use in the montage. There needs to be a save button, which will save the montage with a default filename which will have a unique identifier.

If you have any ideas of what software I can use and how to implement this, I would be most thankful.
