Below is the complex number, the absolute value and the phase angle. The angle is in radian and I want to convert it to degree. How can I do that in matlab.

Multiply by 180 degrees and divide by pi radians? theta = x*180/pi;

One radian is approximately 57.3 angular degrees (e.g., 180/pi = 57.295).
The "radtodeg" function requires the Mapping Toolbox. If you don't have it then the simple function below, which is basically what James said, will do the trick. Save it to rad2deg.m

Deg = (180/pi) * Rad;
360 --------------- 2*pi
xº ------------------ y rad
from rad to deg:
x = 360 y / (2*pi)
x = (180/pi) y
You can use the Matlab function radtodeg() to convert too:
angleInDegrees = radtodeg(angleInRadians)
MATLAB by default will give you in radian, if you want to have your values in degree just put "d" in front of trigonometric functions, for example:
sin(x) = will returns the value in radian
sind(x) = will returns the value in degree
