I have done the segmentation,extracted the boundary pixel, what remains is the following:
1. MATLAB code to extract the boundary pixels as a vector
2. me with MATLAB code for shape description using any fourier descriptor such as: basic chain code, vertex chain code, statistical chain code, boundary moment, chord distribution , complex coordinates, area function, tangent angle etc.

u may think about boundary regions , area and centorids , its a inbuilt function avialable in matlab .
