I am a Social Work professor and I serve on the social action day event. I would like to engage my students in a campaign against Islamophobia, as a social justice issue.
I need some tips on how to start this campaign.

First: Select the goal of the campaign
Second: Choose the right Apps that suits students and the target audience , whether Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or combining more than one.
Third: You can create a page on Facebook or a Twitter account for the campaign, or you can use your personal account on Facebook or Twitter or student pages.
Fourth: Create appropriate campaign content such as, text, photos and videos.
Fifth: Start posting through the campaign pages.
Sixth: Increase your reach with influencers who have many followers
Seventh: Use the funded advertising for posts that you think it will be influential

To add to Hatim who suggests good tactics above, you can also use a system like Survey Monkey to set up questions, then send the link to all social media participants you are looking for (ie: keys word: “students“ between “age 20-25“ or “any age”) -people are happy to participate especially if you assure confidentiality. I have personally received request from grad students to participate in their research through LinkedIn, an often forgotten massive network of reachable people.

Although I use SurveyMonkey all the time and for so many years now, I never thought about it as a good tool for this campaign.

"What is the truth?" social media accounts should be opened. Because wrong information is given from both sides.
This should be in English and French.
I opened such a social media account and saw that it was successful. It should be supported by visuals such as photographs, cartoons and pictures.
