I have ERA5 UTCI gridded data in NETCDF format, which I have opened in QGIS and ArcGIS Pro. I would like to extract the portion of the UTCI data by the extent of a buffer zone shape file layer that I have, which covers a study route. I have used the clip tool, clip by extent and clip rater by mask tools and have had no success. The results that I do get from using these tools are not what I require. The buffer zone is within two grid cells of the UTCI gridded raster layer. When I apply the above clipping operations, either the two complete cells are clipped or a portion of one of the cells. What can I do to resolve this?

Maybe convert the netcdf to geotiff and then perform any operation.
