I am adding 0.1wt percent MWCNT to glass fiber epoxy composite and want to determine the volume fraction of the MWCNT from this composite but I don't know how to calculate it. can anyone help me with this?
Your question is confusing and simply repeating it does not help.
Are you saying that you're starting with a solution of 0.1 wt% MWCNT and you'll be adding this to a known mass of composite and want to know the final volume concentration? Or are you saying you want to end up with a 0.1 wt% of MWCNT in your composite?
If the former then we can work in volume terms. If have 0.1wt% in a solution then at unit density it's the same as 0.1 volume % (0.1 g CNT and 99.9 g solvent/continuous phase). If (or example) you're adding 10 mL of this (0.1 vol%) solution to 90 mL of composite (calculated from the mass of the composite you're using together with a knowledge of the density of the composite), then you'll be diluting 10-fold overall and your final concentration will be 0.01 volume %.
So we need to know what the masses and composition of your starting materials are and the densities of both components.
