During the Dieless Wire Drawing Process, we need to cool the heated wire rapidly in order to increase the flow stress and suppress further deformation accordingly. So, the cooling air leaving the cooling nozzle strikes the deformation zone and extend to further area. The question is: how can one determine the distance which is affected by cooling air far the deformation zone?
