Is there any formula to estimate the rotational speed of turbocharger turbine without looking into performance map? With an Avg mass flow rate of 26.5 g/s and 1.75 bar pressure before turbine. The Outlet of the turbine is connected to atmosphere.
Known geometry of turbine are:
Wheel Dia: 64mm and A/R: 0.83 and trim of 72.
From the Euler equation for tubomachinery. You need an additional measurment of teh temperatures at the inlet and outlet. You can then estimate the enthalpy drop from your data and the velocity triangles from the geometrical data and mass flow rate. You need some assumptions on the triangle but it should be posible to get an estimation.

However , if you have got the design data , mass(q1) , pressure drop (dp1) ,and speed (n1)you can determine the required rotational speed (n2) at any operating condition (q2,dp2,and n2) by applying auffinity law.
q1 / q2 = (n1 / n2) and dp1 / dp2 = (n1 / n2)2
