i trying to evaluate recovery percentage for the heavy metals. i have idea to generate recovery parentage in AAS analytical method. But can anyone suggest me, how i can develop recovery parentage in voltametric method
Recover mean how your method can detect the concentration in real sample, since you may lost some analyte during analisys.
Need to know the initial concentration you add in real sample and the concentration after you add in matrix (example: water, food). Just do ratio Final/initial x 100
Depending on the concentration obtained in your sample, spike 80%, 100% and 120% of reference standard and then calculate the theoretical concentrations of these solutions and compare with the results obtained practically. the recovery result should be between 98-102%.
