There is no automatic connector. RG is a good file sharing platform, but its aggregation algorithms are not the best, so I consistently disencourage its usage for metrics.
Currently, Google Scholar and ResearchGate do not have a direct synchronization feature; however, researchers can manually link their profiles by adding publications to both, cross-referencing DOIs, and ensuring consistency in metadata so that citation counts appear correctly across both platforms.
