There isn't much we can use blockchain for. Most data for serious research is Installed locally once and in industry it's In a centralized database.
If you have a source that's willing to mess with the data they are also willing to put bad data in.
Not to mention there are ethical issues with putting sensitive medical data on a public immutable database.
I have yet to find a good use for blockchain... even in distributed training I don't see what issue it solves for me.
