I am recently graduated and I am a young researcher, so still some ideas are not clear in my mind. Basically Iam a hydrologists with a demonstrated international experience in hydroacoustics. I would like to know how to establish connection with advanced research groups in my field. for example I found some calls for applications but the project should contain at least 3 groups from 3 different countries. Although I do have my own research proposal I do have no idea about other groups proposal or clear achievements . Therefore, I think the most challenging task is this step. Because finding distinguished groups is the key factor for a successful research.
Would you please provide me your tips, strategies or would you please share you experience.
There are many ways of connecting with international groups. One way is implicit in your question. A call for proposals like the one you describe requiring international collaboration could be a driver. Thus finding international expertise that complements yours would be a natural way to do it. To know who is doing what search for publications (e.g. google scholar) or in the proceedings of recent international meetings. From the practical point of view, it amounts to contacting the researchers directly (call, email, etc.) or indirectly by asking somebody in your network to connect you (this is perhaps the preferred but not always possible). Needless is to say that in present day science it is crucial to spend time in developing a professional network (social media helps for this but personal is always better). So, when you go to an international meeting make an effort to "work the room". Expanding your professional network will pay off in the long run.
