Help about, Metodologies about land use changes detection in arid regions??

Im working in land use change detection with landsat images with Multi-Index Integrated Change Detection Method, but i have problem with dndvi and dnbr in arid region and i need learn about other index or methodoly for this regions

You can use "Cuirasse-Index, Tasseled-Cap" index (even they are kind of old ....) but there is much works in arid area applying those indexes.
