It is difficult to be certain from photos alone, but there are features that suggest to me that it is a tabulate coral of the Favositina. Compare with that taxon.
I came to the discussion late, but I agree with Dr. Engelmann. It seems to be a tabulate coral belonging to the Favositina. It shows different sections of polygonal corallites and in the low-middle part of the first picture some longitudinal sections with tabulae can be seen.
I think you have true, It looks like a tabulate coral belonging to the Favositina.
Syed,
When i reexamined the specimen, i found that the resemblance with coral Favositina are very strong. So i think that they have true for coral Favositina.
Unfortunately, none of these pictures convince me. Why don't you cut a section of your specimen to show the features, if any, of the last documented specimen. Did you collect your specimen from Palaeozoic rocks or not? Next time when you document a fossil specimen, its locality, lithology, stratigraphic level and associated fauna and flora, if any, must be furnished to attempt realistic and reliable identification.
