AI in Data Mining/Machine Learning:

Artificial Intelligence is a part of Data Mining (or) Machine Learning concept.

It aims to train the machine (System) to act as a human brain by intelligence knowledge.

Not: Machine Learning is a part or subset of Data Mining Concept.

Example:

Face Recognition System, Bioinformatics System, Natural Language Process, ATM, etc......

Data mining and Machine Learning different things.

Data mining purpose is explore data or extract significantly patterns

Machine Learning purpose is predictor model or classifying object to somethings

AI(Artificial Intelligence) is just mimic human knowledge

They have some relations; AI need Data mining and Machine Learning. Role of Data mining in AI provide some insight or significantly patterns. And Machine Learning is that predict model to something object. Machine Learning part in AI is just engine for classify or recommend or predict.
