There are many stories of transplantation of head among same or different species, sex, genotypes. It was a good idea for making some film.

But we have to find out ways against allograft rejection. Only immunosuppressive drugs are not sufficient.

So, as per my idea, there is no scope of successful head transfer in near future.

To over come from the immune rejection , by cloning concept is a alternative for functional head transplant

I agree that due to ethical and immunological reasons (allograft rejection) there is no near future for head transplantation.

Perhaps only in case of genetically identical siblings a head transplantation can be carried out.
