If you put in some paper, paper towels or gloves into the aurlock of a glovebox, apply vacuum for 1 min and then let the argon stream in you will notice a warming of the paper, paper towel or glove. If you repeat the process a few times in a row you will have a stronger warming.
I always expected the evaporation of moisture to cool an object down. But it seems the adsorption of Ar (even in case of a hopefully not very porous glove) generates a lot of heat.
