I have already seen this. Yet I wanted to use the date from the original article not the cited date. But I can’t find them anywhere… Therefor I’m not sure how trustworthy are this date. But thank you all the same

I couldn't find any relevant information. But you could do a bioassay (seed germination experiment) with temperature as the variable factor and germination percentage as the dependent variable :)

One of my student, Ms. Jing Jia has studied this speices in China. Unfortunately, it is in Chinese. However, some figures has english. So, Please reference them. Although it is not clearly described in the text. The germiantion of this seed is quite easy at room temperature with filter paper in a dish plate(with water) at room temperature.

I have found some of this works already… But unfortunately I don’t understand much from the tables and figures, and unfortunately I don’t speak Chinese, or there aren’t the data that I’m searching for… You are correct the seed do germinate quite easily as you described it. But that is not exactly what I’m looking for.

this species has gradual germination, so its achenes do not begin to germinate at one time. Above all, these achenes are usually dormant. The third think, different life environments and microclima can influence germination requirements.

So, I think you should made a test germination as Andrew suggested.

OK. There is temperature for I.X. germination in range of 10 - 25 °C in the grey literature in Czech language.
