This question is concerning a literature investigation following from recently published papers of photo detectors consisting of SnS2–xSex crystals with tunable band gaps 10.1038/srep17109. Has anyone made a PV devices by which their is a gradient in the band gap within the absorber layer from front to back contacts. I have a non tested idea to achieve such engineering via a low cost method, but want to find out if it has been done.
