I found only few applications using this source and I wonder, if this source could replace the installed Apollo II ESI source. Normally the standard ESI source is very sensitive, but I found some conditions (high ammonium acetate conc., high ACN content) not optimal. Other sources (Waters, AB Sciex, Agilent Jet Stream) seem to be much more sensitive under these conditions. I hoped to close this gap with the Ion Booster source. Does anybody know more?
