the particles possess the undulatory property and at the same foot of equality a corpuscular property; and we find these same particles presenting themselves as messenger particles that drive interactions like the photon.
Recently, we have succeeded in verifying the existence of gravitational waves, if we base ourselves on the idea that all interaction is conveyed by a boson, can we consider the existence of graviton? and build an equation that describes it?
General relativity predicts existence of gravitational waves but does not predict the existence of Graviton. Gravitational waves are experimentally detected but Graviton is not detected yet. The detection of gravitational waves have resulted in new bounds for the Graviton. These observations constrain the Compton wavelength of the graviton to be λg > 1013 km, which could be interpreted as a bound on the graviton mass mg < 1.2 × 10-22 eV/c2.
Existence of gravitational waves is a prediction of Einstein's general theory of relativity. Therefore recent discovery of gravitational waves (which has originated from black hole merger) is considered to be a success of the general theory of relativity. Primordial gravitational waves are not discovered yet.
However, there was a claim of observation of primordial GW in 2015. The observation was that of a curious pattern of polarization in cosmic background photons, which could have been caused by the presence of a spin-2 gravition in primordial plasma. Scientific community however rejected this claim and the reason for that was that such polarization effects can also be caused by interstellar dust.
