Dear RG community,

im working on single-crystal-electrochemistry and the cleanliness of the cell, the electrolyte and the electrodes are of utmost importance to me. However, i'm having problems with cleanliness (e.g., my Pt(111) CV is not stable for more than 10 min) and i assume that i am not working clean enough. Does anyone have an opinion on glass- vs teflon-cells (with regard to cleanliness) and furthermore, how do you clean your glassware/teflon for highest purity?

Thanks in advance and have a nice day

Gregor
