A woman's reasons for pursuing medical abortion are highly personal. You may have mixed feelings about being pregnant. You may have major financial problems. Or you may not be capable of parenting due to mental health problems or other issues. For most of these circumstances there are alternatives, such as adoption. Sometimes a woman may have a serious medical problem that poses a life-threatening risk to her during pregnancy.
Consider that if you believe that life is a fantastic splendid, interesting accident, and souls do not exist, no God exists, then abortion is a victim-less, somewhat sad action. Even if you believe in God and S/He exists, then an aborted embryo would not be a victim. Billions x billions x billions of sperms are wasted daily are they victims? They look more alive/lively than eggs. If the pregnant woman would have sinned to procure an abortion, then it would be unfair of God to punish the soul? of the embryo for that.
That does not mean that in-God believers are always against terminations, often it is the least harmful solution. A glaring example, but there are many more good reasons, is a pregnancy after rape.
I am serious about victim-less. I personally would not mind if "I" would have become a miscarriage or abortion.
