The authors proposing self-synchronization based control techniques of grid-connected inverter i.e notch filter , Kalman filter based, fixed gain filter , non-linear current limiting based controllers;claim that there is no need to have pre-synchronization period. Instead one can directly connect the three-phase voltage inverter with the grid before enabling the aboved mentioned controllers. Is it means PCC breaker is turned on and then run the controller? Will it not cause flow of power for a short duration to inverter switches through the LCL filter and damage the IGBT switches?
