Frequency stability is determined by your (quartz) crystal and PLL linking the crystal to controlled oscillator of heterodyne (or of direct conversion circuit).
Seems you are concerned about long-term stability - which dominated by quartz crystal stability. Use larger crystal with bigger Q-factor, lower-frequency crystal (again to increase Q-factor) or use ovenized crystal (eliminate temperature-related drift).
