I am currently investigating methods in order to use a fully sealed fluid filled single acting cylinder in order to show linear force. If the cylinder is filled with glycol or other relatively incompressible fluid and we know the bulk modulus and fluid elasticity, can we accurately and reliably show force through pressure calculations?
Is there any research showing the accuracy and repeatability of this method over several thousand cycles?
