I am receiving an error message suggesting that the fid file might be the wrong format, when I try to import it into flex analysis. Is there anyway to solve this issue?

If you are still having issues, here are several suggestions. I do not read German, but based on your interpretation of the error, perhaps, the data were acquired with the older or newer version of the flexControl software not compatible with your flexAnalysis version. If this is a case and depending on which software is older, updating flexAnalysis to a newer release, or converting data to the newer format should solve the problem. Otherwise, Bruker is near by, and their technical support can be contacted via email found under fleexAnalysis Help menu. Hope it helps and best wishes!

Wie es mir scheint, liegt hier ein Fehler vor, der nur von Ihrem Geräte-Zulieferer gelöst werden könnte. Selbst bin ich nicht mit MALDI-TOF Geräten in Verbindung gewesen, jedoch ist mir mit Agilent-Massenspektrometern Ähnliches widerfahren.
Das Beste ist, sie setzen sich mit dem Lieferanten in Verbindung. Wenn das nichts ergibt, dann ist der Konzern des Geräteursprungs zuständig (Bruker? Shimadzu? Thermo-Fischer? Sciex?.......)
