I have constructed adsorption column using a bioceramic material and the nature of the molecule are powder, less density, size is less. The problem regarding this continuous column is due to this characteristics the column retention time becomes higher and sometimes it clogs can anyone suggest any method to overcome this problem
Something i do not understand. Smaller particles and lower bulk density ?
Instead of a fixed bed, you can use a moving bed, such as a fluidized bed. However, depending on the size, density and shape of the particles you have to choose the right gas flow rate.

Adsorption column is bad idea for powder material. It will be better to mix powder with liquid, from which you remove something, and then to separate by filtration or ther separation method.
I agree with all the three answers given above. Here are two more suggestions.
Examine if you can wash coat your bioceramic material onto a metallic or ceramic honey comb.
or
Form the powder nto appropriately sized spheres or extrudates.
Akash - It would help if you also described the composition of your powder and the application u r working on.
Batch processes are a good choice for small scale production. Costs.

The process in one column will change little in the sense of continuity of both phases flow. It may be better to think of a solution used in FCC - the reactor-regenerator system.
