The overall goal of the project looks very ambitious and I am sure the final outcome will be very beneficial for policy makers and water security scientist for future use. I did some/similar kind of work at NCAR (for whole Contiguous United states) and also in my present university in Canada (over Western Canada) using WRF-ARW.

Project uses CORDEX datasets over India
Whether will it cover whole India or will it be a regional for over some part of India?
Covers whole India
What will be the model resolution?
50kms horizontal, may get to lower resolutions as per need and specific areas
Will you be carrying the simulation in hind cast mode and for future scenario as well.
