Two years ago, we had a multilingual braille output device with audio enhancement. The project was a success and two papers were published from it, a conference paper, and a Journal one (See my publications for the details).

I wanted to evaluate the project by making blind and visually-impaired individuals test it. However, I need a scientific approach for the testing. Is there a quantitative method I can use? I thought of going to a specialized school and let some students learn Braille with the device. But how to compare the learning process with and without the device?
