Travel, living and working in another country is a great but sometimes a difficult experience. Cosmovision implies a different and special way of dealing with people, culture, and habits. For expatriates, cross-cultural training must be conceived not only as a way they must act in a new society to fit with the company vision and goals but, it must consider where they are coming from, what do they expect coming to another country, their habits, the understanding, and tolerance they must have when dealing with people from different countries.
Housing, security, time management, priorities scale in the personal and family aspect could be a major in this cross-cultural training. Religion and politics must be recognized as difficult and even delicate subjects. We can recommend them never talk about these aspects unless they are asked to but recognized this is a free option for everybody. Life, respect, tolerance, and values cross every single culture in an aspect, human well-being.
If there is a clear understanding of expatriates’ position and vision, considering the before mentioned aspects, they would be part of a new society, company, and way of living with a positive vision of what they are doing for a better working and living as a part of a group.
