I am trying to design a 2D BLDC motor in ansys maxwell where the windings would be excited with an external circuit created in maxwell circuit. At first I did not include any end inductance values in the Maxwell circuit. I got a torque curve that seemed decent. Later I add an approximate end inductance value of 2 micro henry in each phase. After adding the inductance I observed some unusual pattern in torque plot as it was ok for about 7 to 8 cycles then it took a sharp decrease(screen shot attached). The self inductance values in both cases are 70 micro henry. Is there a problem in the software settings from my end or is it an usual result?
