It's very unclear what you are trying to say. I was asking about latency, not oncogenicity. These two do not always go together.

Also, your post is taken word-by-word from two microbiology textbooks: D.K.Maheshwari (1999) and S. Baron (1996). It is unacademic to take parts of literature and use without citation. Please clearly indicate citation and source next time.
