LOFAR might be able to identify fine structures and the related processes in the CME/flare current sheet. These structures and processes would reveal important details on the physics of magnetic reconnection that drives the eruption. Turbulence should be a key for understanding the magnetic reconnection process taking place in the large-scale current sheet developed in the major eruption. Similar process is very likely to occur in the other astrophysical environments of large-scale. If interested, an overview on this topic would be helpful.
