While this may be beneficial for the community overall, however, individual workers who become jobless may suffer. Therefore, the community and policymakers should make plans before such issues occur, by training such workers at risk of getting alternative jobs.
Definitely jobless is a big issue but we can't avoid from changes of the world by using AI in all fields because we have expertise in a particular area to implement new venture.
Robot can only use in certain areas not everything. The cost is high so jobless is not longer period for the humans' work.
The AI will lead to creation of more high-skill high-paying jobs, and elimination of low paying low-skill jobs. Younger and more skilled workers in AI and computer will gain and poor, low-skilled workers will become jobless and poorer as they will not be able to retool to meet market demands, increasing inequality.
Ok , when car assembly line was automated people were like -"no jobs", "Robots will take our jobs" etc etc , it turned out to be another story !!! In the same way AI is a blessing because it will ease the way in "Work" is done yet there will be need for skilled workers ...
Great debate. AI is finding its way into medicine. Although we welcome the benefits it brings its own challenges. In all sectors we need to address the human cost/effects before widespread introduction of AI.
