Does the patch size on the mice back influence the severity of psoriasis in Imiquimod-Induced Psoriasis-Like Mouse Model?

I recently started IMQ induced psoriasis mouse model studies using C57 black mice. I applied recommended concentration. I noticed variable degree of psoriasis between the mice. would the size of the skin patch to which the cream is applied influence the severity of psoriasis. Could anyone please advice me on this.
