For the past few years, memristive systems have been celebrating as a novel research which is said to make the researchers to revisit all the known theory with the inclusion of memristive theory. The theory of memristors originally started from circuit theory by L. O Chua during 1971, then it got attention after its nano level physical implementation by HP labs in 2009. Thereafter lot of papers relates the memristor to physics and biology are came and the publications are exponentially growing.

Now my question is as a non-linear dynamic point of view, replacing the Chua's diode, a popular physical non-linear element, with the memristor would be the fruitful to idea of dynamical studies? or more specifically replacing the memristor in the place of Chua's diode in Chua's circuit will leads to new dynamics?
