I think that such a question is difficult to answer because it is formulated on the wrong idea about the processes in biological systems. First, there is no information flow in biological systems. There is a process of information transformation, which is accompanied by directed electrochemical reactions. Secondly, proteins, as the final product of genetic material, form their own (aggregate) electromagnetic field of the biological system. This field is the basic environment that corrects the state of many electrochemical and neurophysiological processes of the biological system. Other biomolecules perform strictly defined functions in the process of information transformation in biological systems. This topic is very interesting and promising and practically useful!
