The cost of research in the modern world is in some cases insanely excessive. This cost effects the ability of the researchers in the relatively poor countries to participate in the state of the art research. In the cost of research I also include the cost of knowledge transfer mechanisms which include books and research papers.
The pricing of books and research papers is very high relative to the earnings of the researchers (particularly students) in developing countries.
Do you agree that such situation exists and what are its effects. What do you think are the best possible solution of such a problem.
Vaccination research includes studies of the disease burden, the development and evaluation of new or improved vaccines, implementation of vaccination strategies, and studies to measure the costs and outcomes of such strategies. Such of these research are expensive, hence such studies cannot happen in developing countries, unless otherwise funded heavily.

Of course this is the truth behind the developing countries weak research involvement. Many countries ,in developing countries allocate few money for researchers and students. This is hindering and paralyzing the researchers of developing countries. when researchers prepare best papers and ask to present in international conferences, the response we get is no budget. As a consequence of this, we in a low income countries are incapable of participating in researches and publication.
However, we need to find some international scholars who may help us for good research papers. Some international journals which may publish our articles in waiver like Omics groups.

Of course, if you have more of something (money, educational infrastructure, etc. in this case), things will be easier for you but if I would be head of a developing country and I want to grow a strong research environment (putting aside for the moment that this will take decades rather than years), I would start with sciences that are not necessarily expensive. Mathematics is a good example, social and juridical sciences are others and they help to drive an economy. With a better economy you will also have more money for other sciences as well at your disposal.
To be honest, in this era, where you can find everything on the internet, the cost of papers/books is not really an excuse (and quite frankly - these are the cheapest items of scientific research). Usually every author of relevant literature can be found via the internet and one can even write an email and ask to send some of his or her manuscripts - most colleagues of mine are very happy to provide their works to people who are interested. - It takes time, of course, but if one is resourceful a lot can be done with a minimum of money, or no money at all.
One good idea would be to have a world fund to pay for transport costs to move the research machines from the rich countries to the less granted ones.. Many apparatus disappear to the recycling / shredder here in Europe.
But be sure our research is probably not the one you want to have. Spend your energy in the topics you really need. Educate your people, and take advantage of your ressources.
For sure it is not an easy task since we, rich-countries, do everything to prevent you from growing.. we need your cheap ressources and want them to remain cheap.

yes off course...in third world countries experimental research is very rare due to unavailability of funds. research is carried out through simulations using pirated softwares with limited help resources and computational power.due to scarce resources research is very difficult and experimentally proven innovation is impossible.
