Yes. With smaller percentage of the regioregularity, chains (both hexyl and backbone) become more disordered which reduces electronic coupling (both inter- and intra-chain) between thiophene rings. Reduced electronic coupling coupling induces lower HOMO, higher LUMO and higher band gap.
