Dynamic equations for elecromagnetic fields do not depend on quantum constant \hbar. They do not change their form at \hbar tending to zero. In other words, they have the same form in classical physics and in quantum physics. Appearance of quantums can be explained by the fact, that atoms can radiate and absorb electromagnetic radiation only in the form of quantums.
Dear representative of RAS, are you sure, that Quantum Electrodynamics (QED) does not contain the Planck Constant? The basic equation of QED is not the Schrödinger equation, but the d'Alembert's one. Dear Dmitri, my question concerns not to quantum electrodynmics. It concerns to electrodynamic simply, because, if you consider quantum electrodynamics, it means, that you quantize the electromagnetic field. The question was, whether you need to quantize the electromgnetic field.
My unjustly rejected paper http://vixra.org/abs/1409.0177 says, that electromagnetic waves and gravitational detector are not compatible.

Your question is a not well-posed problem (sorry to criticize).
A better question is "in which situations" we have to quantize the e.m. field. For instance, when we study the spontaneous down-conversion, each one of the two photons produced, is very well represented by a Fock state. That has no classical resemblance.
Aso, the Hong-Ou-Mandel experiment, which shows that two identical photons landing on a beam-splitter exit through the same side, is also a quantum phenomenon typical to the bosonic nature.
On the other hand, there are meany situations, e.g. the behavior of the light through lenses and mirrors, or interference and diffraction, in which the classical description is sufficient.
