You can write a C S-FUNCTION following the Matlab/Simulink help and then include the header for dSPACE RTI compilation.

You can use a compatible Matlab version with the Dspace you are using.
When you would install Dspace, RTLib would get added in the Matlab program. Whenever you would open the Matlab, It would ask you to run RTLIB1103 and In Simulink library, you would have all the tools to access all the ports on dspace.

You have to install its compatible matlab after that you can able to access rti library. If you don't have its compatible matlab than tell me i will share matlab with you.
