I have to use the CCM 300 chlorophyl content meter for many herbaceous and tree species. The manual claims that Gitelson's formula is suitable for elm, birch and wild vine and by changing the two parameters (634 and 391) of the equation Chl content= 634*F735/F700 - 391, the equation can be adapted to other species . If there weren't a list of parameters per each species, can someone tell me how to define these more suitable parameters.
