I am working on the integration of social networking concepts into the Internet of Things. To evaluate the benefits of this solution, I need a large dataset with data collected from different kinds of objects.
We recently constructed our own dataset of IoT objects starting from the devices available in Santander.
The dataset includes object information (such as owner or category), the traces on the positions and the timestamps of the devices, the list of all the applications we envision in a Smart City scenario, the objects profiles (expressed as set of available services and possible applications requests) and an adjacent matrix of relationships for the Social IoT (which is my field of research).
The resulting network comprehends a total of 16216 devices, 16 typologies of objects, 18 different services and 28 applications.
